Description

The choice of this target wasn’t planned, in truth, it was a test session after i did a new alignment of the whole optics train, from focuser to primary mirror.
When i calibrated the frames i was so unhappy with the result because the background was horrible to my eyes! I tried to apply a false flat field in PS but i was so disappoined and i really thought that i lost only decent time with decent weather…Damn!
But i was wrong…really wrong!

For a reference i saw some pictures of NGC7331 and i discovered that what i tried to do with background extraction was in realty destroying good data.
There is a first time for everything... and this was my first Galactic Cirruses Catch!

It is wonderful to see these plenty of galaxies! Are we sure that we are alone in this Universe? What a question...
We are not alone, for sure... Is what they call Statistic, baby!
